CAVE

The Cave is not just an empty place, it also provides room according to the user's needs. It can be activated as a a fun space, an info space, a shopping or as a relaxing space.

During the design process several properties had importance: irregular shapes, interior lights, tectonics.
The joineries are simple, for a fast fabrication procedure. Facts: in total 703 construction timber - 577 pcs. main module length 150cm, 126 pcs. special length but same joints.

​Our inspiration was to recreate the atmosphere of a Cave with all of its properties: diffused light and different heights in the inside and the cave`s walls with irregular shapes through the movement of the straight construction timber joineries.
